Lord Vishnu and Lakshmi - 2.5 Inch height-solid metal-Pranapratistana held
Lord Vishnu is one of the principal deities of Hinduism and is revered as the Preserver and Protector of the Universe in the Holy Trinity (Trimurti), alongside Lord Brahma (the Creator) and Lord Shiva (the Destroyer). He is the embodiment of righteousness (Dharma), compassion, truth, and divine grace. Whenever evil threatens the world and righteousness declines, Lord Vishnu incarnates in various forms (Avataras) to restore balance and protect humanity. His ten principal incarnations, known as the Dashavatara, include Matsya, Kurma, Varaha, Narasimha, Vamana, Parashurama, Lord Rama, Lord Krishna, Buddha (in some traditions), and Kalki.
Lord Vishnu is depicted with a serene blue complexion, symbolizing the infinite sky and the boundless ocean. He has four arms, holding the Shankha (Conch), Chakra (Sudarshana Disc), Gada (Kaumodaki Mace), and Padma (Lotus), each representing divine power, righteousness, purity, and protection. He resides in Vaikuntha, seated upon the celestial serpent Adishesha, accompanied by Goddess Lakshmi.
Devotees worship Lord Vishnu for peace, prosperity, protection, spiritual wisdom, and liberation (Moksha). His blessings are believed to remove obstacles, preserve harmony, and guide devotees toward a righteous and prosperous life.
Goddess Lakshmi
Goddess Lakshmi is the Goddess of Wealth, Prosperity, Fortune, Beauty, and Abundance. She is the divine consort of Lord Vishnu and symbolizes purity, generosity, success, and auspiciousness. As the preserver of prosperity and well-being, Goddess Lakshmi blesses her devotees with material wealth, spiritual richness, happiness, and good fortune.
She is traditionally depicted seated or standing on a fully blossomed lotus, symbolizing purity and spiritual enlightenment. She has four graceful arms representing Dharma (Righteousness), Artha (Wealth), Kama (Desire), and Moksha (Liberation). Two of her hands shower golden coins, signifying abundance and prosperity, while she holds lotus flowers in the others. White elephants often accompany her, symbolizing royal power, wisdom, and success.
Goddess Lakshmi is worshipped especially during Deepavali (Diwali) and on Fridays, when devotees seek her blessings for financial prosperity, family harmony, good health, and success in all endeavors. She is believed to bring peace, fortune, and positive energy into homes and businesses.
Together, Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi represent the perfect union of protection and prosperity, righteousness and abundance, compassion and divine grace. Their worship is believed to bless devotees with spiritual growth, material success, harmony, and everlasting happiness.
